Ralph Donald Toy, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024, at the age of 86. He was born on January 9, 1938, in Sharpsburg, Kentucky, to the late Clayton and Ann Toy. Ralph lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Ralph will always be remembered as an amazing man and a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Betty. Together, they shared a deep bond and a lifetime of treasured moments. Ralph's unwavering love and commitment to his family were evident in every aspect of his life. As a father, he lovingly raised three daughters as his own.
Ralph was a man of strong convictions, characterized by his unwavering dedication to his work. For an impressive 38 years, he served as a manager at A.O. Smith Electric Motors. When not working, Ralph enjoyed indulging in his passions. He was an avid Kentucky Basketball fan, supported the Pittsburgh Steelers, and found solace in reading and watching westerns. He cherished rounds of golf and secured a hole in one at the age of eighty. Ralph's presence and infectious sense of humor brightened every room he entered, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Family was Ralph's greatest joy, and he treasured every moment spent with his loved ones. He is survived by his devoted wife Betty Toy; daughters, Tracy Mays (Tim) and Kaitlin Toy; son, Tony Toy (Jessica); his grandchildren, including Matthew Goodpaster (Courtney), Jami Goodpaster, Hannah Peterson, and Hogan Toy; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Braxton Wells, Dakotah Conkright, Knox and Lynette Goodpaster, and Madison Toy; brother, Chuck Toy (Patty); sister, Peggy Hawkins; special friend Roger Toy; a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by two daughters, Karen Land and Tracy Toy as well as his sister, Teresa Davis.

A celebration of Ralph Donald Toy's remarkable life will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 315 South Queen Street Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Pastor Glenn Sizemore will be officiating.
Ralph Donald Toy will be remembered for his unwavering love, dedication, and laughter that brought immense happiness to those around him. May his legacy of love and strength continue to inspire us all.
