Randy "Smokey" Curtis Robinson

Randy "Smokey" Curtis Robinson, 48, of Mt. Sterling, died Sunday morning, March 12, 2017 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born February 12, 1969 in Sandy Hook to the late Bill Roland and Minnie Pearl Keeton Robinson.

Smokey was a long-time resident of Montgomery County, graduate from Montgomery County High School, previously employed at Longwood Antique Woods and attended KEAS Tabernacle Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.  Smokey was a well mannered, kind hearted people person.  He was the Montgomery County High School Baseball team manager and he enjoyed shooting pool, sports, fishing and treasure hunting.  Smokey will be dearly missed by his family, church family and friends.

Survivors include; his children, McKenzie Robinson and Bryson Robinson, both of Bath County; two brothers, Mike Robinson and Danny Robinson (Diane), both Mt. Sterling; one sister, Ellen Robinson of Mt. Sterling;  numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Debbie Goodpaster and Mary Percell.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the Randy "Smokey" Robinson Memorial Fund, PO Box 1334, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.

Funeral will be Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 7:00PM. Visitation will be prior from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, services will be at the KEAS Tabernacle Christian Methodist Church.

Pallbearers:  George Gatewood, Ben McDonald, Danny Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Thomas Strange, Bill Drennen, Vance Evans and Derwood Blanton.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Beverly Heathcock, Mike Robinson and Bill Curtis.
