Ray Stephens

Ray Stephens, 81, of Glasgow died Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Glasgow State Nursing Facility.  He was born August 22, 1938 in Salyersville to the late Judge and Maudie Howard Stephens.

Ray was a native of Mt. Sterling and of the Christian Faith.  He like to go rabbit and coon hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.  His friends and family will be missed.

He is survived by one son, Ronnie Stephens (Christine) of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Tammy Stephens Jarman of Winchester; one brother, Byron Stephens (Doris) of Mt. Sterling; two sisters Helen Curtis (Jerry) of Mt. Sterling and Betty Stevens of Mt. Sterling; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents Ray was preceded in death by one son Raymond Stephens; two brothers Hearld Stephens and Earl Stephens and one sister Margaret Short.
