Richard "Dickie" Lee, 67, of Jeffersonville, died Saturday evening, November 14, 2020 at the Windsor Care Center in Mount Sterling. He was born in Mt. Sterling on October 7, 1953 to the late Henry Taylor and Eddy Lea Rose Esteppe.
Dickie was a Montgomery County native and attended the Jeffersonville Baptist Church. Dickie retired from Vulcan Material as a supervisor. He enjoyed; hunting, fishing, four wheeling, the outdoors and especially his grandchildren. He'll be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife Sheila Williams Taylor of Jeffersonville; three daughters, Valerie Carpenter (Joseph) of Richmond, Melissa Taylor of Ripley, Ohio and Ashley Maloney (Michael) of Jeffersonville; eight grandchildren, Felicia Patton (Ed) of Campton, Randi Carpenter of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Joe "Bub" Carpenter of Richmond, Kayla Hood (James) of Stanton, Taylor Paige White of Stanton, Ryan Center of Jeffersonville, Mason Center of Jeffersonville and Kyley Richardson of Jeffersonville; three great grandchildren, Lilly Patton, Alex Patton, both of Campton and Jason Johnson of Stanton; five sisters, Billye Jeanette Smathers (Tony) of Sharpsburg, Dolores Johnson of Beattyville, Henrietta Halcomb of Mt. Sterling, Liz Ensor (George) of Mt. Sterling and Velma "Dee Dee" Martin (Mitchell) of Jeffersonville; step-father, Roy Esteppe of Mt. Sterling; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Dickie was preceded in death by his brother Sammy Taylor and a great grandson, Ayden Patton.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Queen Street Christian Fellowship Church, 10 North Queen Street, Mt. Sterling.
