Robert Lane Overholser, 66, of Paris, died Saturday, August 23, 2014 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was born December 21, 1947 to the late Charles Edward and Vivian Dare McCabe Overholser.
Robert was a lifelong resident of Bourbon County; he worked as an auto-body repairman until his retirement. He had a fondness for old cars and was an avid gun collector.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Missy Holmes of Cookeville, Tennessee, Tina Gilbert and Melissa McClain both of Paris; his twin brother, Roy Overholser, Sr. (Katy) of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Charlene Banta (Robert) of Carlisle; grandson, Christian Ryan Holmes of Cookeville, Tennessee; Nieces and Nephew, Roy Overholser, Jr. and Susan Overholser Richards both of Mt. Sterling; Lynn Honican of Carlisle, Jill Mattox of Paris, and Karen Baker of Grundy, Virginia; several great nieces and nephews; his girlfriend, Darlene McKinney of Paris; special friend and former business partner, David Campbell of Paris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Overholser.
