Robert William Trimble, 69, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday morning, September 15, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 28, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Carl Winford and Donna Louise Black Trimble.
Robert was a resident of Montgomery County following his move from Bowling Green, Ohio in 1996 and a retired engineer with Cooper Standard Automotive. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served for seven years, nine months and twenty-nine days. Robert was a devoted follower of Christ and a member of First Church of God, Mt. Sterling. He enjoyed; Minnesota Vikings football, his two horses, Fontana and Copper, spending time with his beloved grandchildren and his many grand dogs. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his loving and devoted wife of fifty-three years; Martha Raye Crego Trimble; cherished daughter; Casie Campbell (James) of Mt. Sterling; three grandchildren; Cadence Campbell of Mt. Sterling , Corbin Campbell of Mt. Sterling and Damien Brown, also of Mt. Sterling; two brothers; Carl Trimble of Milton Center, Ohio and Randy "Joe" Trimble (Wanda) of Utah; two sisters; Pamela Dingus (Larry) of Milton Center, Ohio and Ila Houston (Wes) of Gridley, Kansas.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his grandson; Cody Campbell; brother; Dallas "Tex" Trimble and infant sister; Debra Lou Trimble.
Memorial Service will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at First Church of God 1051 Camargo Road Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353. Pastor David Dooley will be officiating. .
