Robert "Moody" M. Little

Robert "Moody" M. Little, 86, of Mt. Sterling, died Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born July 17, 1930 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Carma Oldfield and Robert Moody Little.

Robert was a life-long resident of Mt. Sterling, a member of the First Christian Church, retired custodian for the Montgomery County Schools and a United States Army veteran.  He loved to sing, he sang in the church chior for thirty years.  Robert was also an athlete in school, he enjoyed playing football and basketball.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include; his beloved wife of forty-one years; Irene Brown Little of Mt. Sterling; two daughters, Stephany Little Minzenberger (Lee) of Winchester and Peggy Brown Hughes of Mt. Sterling; one grandchild and three dogs, Luka, Cheyenne and Rizzo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Campbell, Grace Humphreys and Betty Carbone Rice.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Christian Church, 222 West Main Street, Mount Sterling, Kentucky 40353

Memorial service will be Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 12:00PM.  Visitation will be prior to the funeral from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, services will be at the First Christian Church.  Pastor Scott Holley will be officiating.
