Rodger Allen Hinds

Rodger Allen Hinds, 54, of Lexington, died Thursday, April 16, 2020 at Baptist Health.  He was born in St. Clair, Illinois on July 18, 1965 to Hulda Dailey Hinds and the late Don Hinds.

Rodger was of the Christian faith and attended Southland Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.  Rodger loved his friends and family and the time they spent together.  He will be missed by them.

He is survived by two sons, Rodger F. (Chip) Hinds of Jeffersonville and Thomas Hinds (Tiffany) of Jeffersonville; one grandchild, Carrson Hinds of Jeffersonville; mother, Hulda Dailey Hinds of Springfield; one brother, Bradley Hinds (Leila) of Jackson, Ohio; one sister, Valorie Furman (Rick) of Springfield, two nephews, Don Whittaker (Sarah) of Nicholasville and Dustin Hinds of Tennessee; one niece, Elizabeth Smith (Robert) of Elizabethtown and several great nieces, nephews and other extended family.  Rodger is also survived by longtime girlfriend, Brenda Brown of Lexington.

In addition to his father Don, he was preceded in death by one sister, Darainus Hinds.
