Rodney Lee Mynhier, 60, of Lexington, Kentucky passed away on Sunday morning, December 12, 2021 at UK Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on September 18, 1961.
Rodney was a Montgomery County native but resided in Lexington, a member of the First Baptist Church of Bracktown in Lexington and a United States Army veteran. Rodney loved fashion, having fun with his friends and enjoyed traveling. He will be dearly missed by his family, church family and friends.
Rodney is survived by his parents, Donnie and Robin Williams Mynhier of Mt. Sterling; one brother, William Mynhier of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Dyonne Lucas (Oliver) of Winchester; host of stepchildren and step grandchildren; special friends, Derek King, Jerry Jones, Jr., Corey Chenault, Sr., and Hendri Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rodney was preceded in death by his wife; Charles Etta Mynhier; son, Logan Mynhier and two brothers, Lance Hayden and Lamar Hayden.
Graveside memorial service will be held at 12:00PM on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Olive Hill Cemetery in Mt. Sterling. Rev. Derek King will be officiating.
