Roland Noble-Campbell, 55, of Jeffersonville, died Friday afternoon, June 8, 2012 at his residence. He was born November 17, 1956 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Taylor and Naoma Noble.
Roland was a Perry County native but moved to Montgomery County twenty-five years ago from Menifee County. He was employed at Bucyrus/Caterpillar as a welder; he had a laid back personality with a practical jokester spirit. Roland enjoyed gardening, UK basketball and spending time with his three dogs. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
Survivors include; his wife of twenty-seven years, Melanie Campbell of Jeffersonville; one brother Jim Noble of Louisville; two sisters, Nora Miller (Johnny) of Hazard and Cindy Feix (Hubert Thomas) of Mt. Sterling; three dogs, Sophie, Sadie and Quincy; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Carl and Antha Campbell; his brother, Murlin Noble and one sister, Nancy Gwin.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 11:00AM. Visitation will be on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, services will be at the Full Gospel Word of God, Highway 599 in Jeffersonville. Burial will follow the funeral at the Fortune Cemetery. Rev. Andy Timblin will be officiating.
