Ronald Calvin Gaunce

Ronald "Ronnie" Calvin Gaunce, 37, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday morning, March 25, 2013 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born in Shelbyville on February 6, 1976.

Ronnie was a resident of Mt. Sterling for the past three years. He grew up in Winchester where he attended and graduated from George Rogers Clark High School. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Winchester and an employee of Summit Polymers. He loved spending time with his five year old son, Sebastian, and enjoyed working on cars.

He is survived by his beloved son, Sebastian Calvin Gaunce of Mt. Sterling; Sebastian's mother and special friend, Della Ford of Mt. Sterling; his mother, Diana Rice of Aberdeen, Ohio; two sisters, Tammy Tooley of Greenville and Lisa Gaunce of Mt. Sterilng; stepbrother, Todd Gaunce (Georganna) of Winchester; stepsister, Tonya Payton of Shelbyville; grandmother, Juanita Maddix; nephew, Zane Gaunce; niece, Charisma Tooley; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Gaunce; grandparents, Hazel and Smitty Gaunce; and maternal grandfather, Gene Wadsworth.

You may pay your respects at his Celebration of Life visitation, Saturday, April 6, 2013, between the hours of 11:00AM and 2:00PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, Winchester, Kentucky. Following there will be a private graveside service for the family.
