Ronald Jack Valenti, Sr., 72, of Olympia, died Saturday evening, September 23, 2017 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born July 23, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Peter and Helen Dobstaf Valenti.
Ronald moved to Bath County in 1978 from Chicago and was previously employed at Donotech. He enjoyed mowing his lawn, playing scratch off lottery and watching his favorite Chicago sports teams; Cubs, Bulls and Bears. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; his beloved wife of fifty-two years, Leah Williams Valenti of Olympia; two sons, Ronnie Valenti, Jr. of Olympia and Beau Valenti (Heather) of Owingsville; two daughters, Jackie Kelly (Vinson) and Renae Pergrem (Jamie), both of Owingsville; five brothers, Peter Valenti, Jimmy Valenti, Nick Valenti, Guy Valenti and Tony Valenti, all of Chicago; two sisters, Jeannie Valenti and Lisa Valenti, both of Chicago; seven grandchildren, Jessica Trimble, Cody Kelly, Amanda Bowles, Carla Everman, John Valenti, Patrick Carpenter and Jake Carpenter; nineteen great grandchildren.
