Ronald "Eagle" Chester Taul

Ronald "Eagle" Chester Taul, 67, of Mt. Sterling, passed away on Sunday afternoon May 1, 2022  at Clark Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his children.  He was born August 26, 1954 to the late Henry Chester and Mary Williams Taul.

Ronald was a Montgomery County native and a member of the Keas Tabernacle C.M.E. Church.  He enjoyed; hanging with his friends, UK basketball and watching westerns.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include; two daughters; Rhonda Taul of Mt. Sterling and Carla Taul of Louisville; two brothers; David Taul (Yvonne) of Mt. Sterling and James D. Taul (Virginia) of Mt. Sterling; one sister; Barbara Gatewood of Mt. Sterling; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; John "Sookie" Taul and Ralph Winston Taul; grandmother; Melinda Lisle.

Funeral service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 12:00PM.  Visitation will be prior from 10:00AM-12:00PM.  Both will be held at the Keas Tabernacle C.M.E. Church in Mt. Sterling. Committal will follow the funeral service at Olive Hill Cemetery in Mt. Sterling.  Reverend Arthur Douthitt and Reverend Gregory Bonner will be officiating.

Pallbearers: Corey Jackson, Mike Colliver, Donald Greene, Stevie Greene, Marty Brown, Troy Darnell, Tim Anderson and Lawrence Hines.

Honorary Pallbearers: Jerry Stevens, Michael Stevens, Albert Clemons, Byron Williams and Michael Anderson.
