Ruby (Pitts) Brandenburg
January 2, 1922 — January 15, 2018
Ruby Pitts Brandenburg, 96, of Jeffersonville, died Monday, January 15, at her home in Jeffersonville. She was born January 2, 1922 in Menifee County to the late Elsberry and Emma Lou Wills Pitts.
Ruby has resided in Montgomery County since 1941 and was a member of the Jeffersonville Assembly of God Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed; cooking, farming, crocheting, fishing and spending time with loved ones. She'll be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; one son, Robert "Bobby" Brandenburg (Anna) of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Veronica Curran (Randy Stark) of Jeffersonville; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Brandenburg, one son John Alex Daugherty, one daughter, Janet Elizabeth Daugherty Trimble, three brothers, Mason Pitts, Howard Pitts and Paul Pitts, two sisters, Lou Emma Poynter and Gladys Pitts.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 3:00PM, Visitation will be prior from 1:00PM - 3:00PM at Jeffersonville Assembly of God Church. Committal will follow at the Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Officiants will be Pastor Chadwich Curran and Pastor Robbie Conn.
Pallbearers: Randy Stark, Isaiah Curran, Dan Maggard, Gregory Trimble, Mathew Curran and Kyle Maggard.
