Ruth Ann (Noffsinger) Burchett
June 13, 1950 — February 21, 2017
Ruth Ann Noffsinger Burchett, 66, of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday evening, February 21, 2017 at her residence. She was born June 13, 1950 in Houston, Texas to Bill and Mildred Monahan Noffsinger.
Ruth moved to Montgomery County seventeen years ago from Pikeville, she was a self employed property appraiser and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She had a smile that would light up the room and enjoyed; square dancing, hiking, groups in church, refurbishing homes and DIY projects. She will be dearly missed by her family, church family and friends.
Survivors include; two children, Chris Burchett (Avery) of Bloomington, Indiana and Jeff Burchett (Anndrea) of Mt. Sterling; three grandchildren, Allie Justice of Mt. Sterling, Zachary Sapp of Mt. Sterling and Scarlett Burchett of Bloomington, Indiana; her mother, Mildred Monahan Noffsinger of Mt. Sterling.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Noffsinger and her sister, Myra Knox.
Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church at 5:00PM.
