Samuel Preston Amos, 35, of Frenchburg, died Sunday, January 10, 2021. He was born in Winter Park Florida on September 28, 1985 to Jimmy and Cathy Lawson Amos.
Preston was a lifelong resident of Menifee County and was of the Christian faith. Preston was a handyman and carpenter. He enjoyed; being at the lake, swimming and fishing, four-wheeling, mudding and Nascar races. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Preston is survived by his mother; Cathy Lawson Amos of Frenchburg; two daughters; Ada Amos of Wellington and Victoria Kennedy of Mohave Valley, Arizona; one brother; Jeff Amos of Sharpsburg; three sisters; Cindy Amos of Georgia, Paula Johnson (Eddie) of Frenchburg and Raven Allen of Indiana.
Preston was preceded in death by his father; Jimmy D. Amos and one brother Robert Amos.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Cathy Amos for the Samuel Preston Amos Funeral Fund. Donations may be mailed to Cathy Amos, 686 Dog Trot Road, Frenchburg, Kentucky 40322.
Private Visitation will be Monday, January 18, 2021 from 1:00PM - 2:00PM at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory at 315 South Queen Street, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Committal will follow at Barker Cemetery in Menifee County at 3:00P.M. Pastor David Hale will be officiating.
