Sheila Renee (Stigall) Vanderhoof

Sheila Renee Stigall Vanderhoof, 42, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday morning, December 6, 2021 at her residence.  She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on February 27, 1979, to Doug and Amanda Manley Stigall.

Sheila was a Bourbon County native and has been a resident of Montgomery County since 2013.  She was of the Christian faith and was a member of Spears Mill Baptist Church in Bourbon County and attended Gateway Christian Church in Mt. Sterling.  She was employed as coordinator and team leader at Big Smiles Dentistry and was Treasurer for the Montgomery County Girls Golf Club.  Sheila enjoyed; hiking, camping, traveling to the beach, working with children and entertaining family and friends.  She never met a stranger, she was very outgoing and had a happy, friendly disposition.  She was very giving and would help anyone.  She will be sadly missed and never forgotten by her family and friends.

Sheila is survived by her husband and best friend; Kevin Vanderhoof of Mt. Sterling; cherished daughter; Ava Vanderhoof of Mt. Sterling; loving parents; Doug and Amanda Stigall of North Middletown; brother; Eric Stigall (Jessica) of Mt. Sterling; brother-in-law; Mike Vanderhoof (Anita) of Ironton, Ohio; nephew; Logan Stigall of Mt. Sterling; nieces; Lyndsay Stigall of Mt. Sterling and Taylor Vanderhoof of Ironton, Ohio; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sheila was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Robert and Pauline Manley and paternal grandparents; Otis and Helen Stigall; mother-in-law; Myra Vanderhoof and father-in-law; Mike Vanderhoof.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, December 10, 2021.  Visitation will be 5:00PM - 8:00PM on Thursday, December 9, 2021.  Both will be held at Gateway Christian Church, 801 Winchester Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.  Committal will follow the funeral service on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Machpelah Cemetery.   Pastor Bill Kilgore will be officiating.
