Stephen Edward "Ed" Engle

Stephen Edward "Ed" Engle, 55, of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday, July 3, 2014 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born August 5, 1958 in Harlan, Kentucky to Audrey Sue Sailor Engle and the late Sylvian Maurice Engle.

Ed was a Montgomery County native, he served in the United States Army and was employed by Town and Country Hardware in Camargo. He had a passion for music, a positive attitude and always had a smile. Many will remember him as someone who enjoyed life, taking a bad situation and finding the silver lining, but most of all Ed will be remembered for his big, kind heart of gold. He was very giving and incredibly selfless. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends

Survivors include; his mother, Audrey Engle of Mt. Sterling; two daughters, Stephanie Dawn Engle Valdez of Salt Lake City, Utah and Tina Audrina Inez Engle of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Gerald Engle (Diane) of Mt. Sterling and Vincent Engle of Salt Lake City, Utah; four grandchildren, Teren and Trever Valdez both of Salt Lake City, Utah and Brayden and Bryce Barker both of Mt. Sterling.
