Steven Jay Toy
August 2, 1963 — December 14, 2017
Steven Jay Toy, 54, of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born August 2, 1963 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Bill and Bonnie Hunt Toy.
Steven moved to Montgomery County six months ago from Campbellsville, of the Christian faith, previously employed as a manager at Wal-Mart and an undercover police officer for the Floyd County Sheriff's Department. He enjoyed; martial arts, movies, Pittsburgh Steelers and most of all, spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; one daughter, Natasha Barnett of Pikeville; two brothers, Billy Toy of Vernon, Texas and Wayne Toy (Cynthia) of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Melody Bush (David) of Altus, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Greg Toy; one sister, Gail Vance.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 56, PO Box 747, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.
Memorial service will be Monday, December 18 at 7:00PM. Visitation will be prior from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, services at Queen Street Christian Fellowship.
