Thelma C. Ray Baker Dorsey, 77, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday evening, March 16, 2023, at University of Kentucky Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 7, 1945, in Bath County, Kentucky to the late Charlie Farris and Beulah Mae Stull Ray.
Thelma was a Montgomery County native, of the Christian faith and spent her life caring for others. She loved spending time with people, taking care of children and helping anyone and everyone. She will be remembered lovingly by her family and friends for her enormous giving heart.
Thelma is survived by her beloved sons, Wesley Baker (Tamara) of Mt. Sterling, Everett Baker of Jeffersonville and James Baker of Jeffersonville; cherished daughter, Penny Bolin (Clayton Watkins) of Jeffersonville; seven grandchildren, Nicholas Bolin of Jeffersonville, Jacob Bolin of Jeffersonville, Isaiah Means of Mt. Sterling, Nathaniel Means of Mt. Sterling, Daxton Baker of Mt. Sterling, Kaitlyn Baker of Mt. Sterling and Whitley Baker of Mt. Sterling; great granddaughter, Addyson Means of Mt. Sterling; sister, Loretta Steele of Ypsilanti, Michigan; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Dallas Dorsey; brother, Glen Ray; three sisters, Dorothy Williams, Rosella Shelton and Faye Gray.
