Thomas Manseal Palme

Thomas Manseal Palmer, Jr., 86, died Friday evening, January 24, 2014 at Edgewood Estates in Frenchburg. He was born October 31, 1927 in Gadsden, Alabama to the late Thomas Manseal Palmer, Sr. and Anna Ruth Kirby.
Thomas, along with his wife, Dorothy, had been a resident of Edgewood Estates for the past 17 years. He was an Aeronautical Engineer who served in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He loved the outdoors and was a big UK basketball fan.
Survivors include; his loving wife of 67 years, Dorothy Jeanne Palmer of Frenchburg; a sister, Joyce Gerguson (Guss); three grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Wayne Palmer; a brother Richard Allen Palmer; a sister, Dorothy Howell.
