Timothy Allen Benson

Timothy Allen Benson, age 53, from Ludlow, Kentucky, recently residing in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2018, after a short battle with kidney failure.  He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Ann (Schaffner) Benson, three siblings, Barbara (Benson) Blasch, (Paul Blasch), Gilbert James Benson, Jr. (Liz Benson) and Carol Marie (Benson) Breth, (James Lee Breth), two nephews, Matthew Blasch, Daniel Blasch, and one niece, Annie Blasch, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert James Benson, Sr. Tim had a big heart and a great sense of humor.  He made friends wherever he went.  "Ben", as he was often called by friends, loved to fish and was quite good at catching the big ones!  He will be greatly missed.  Services have not yet been determined.  Donations in his memory can be made to the Shepherd's Shelter, 236 Bridgett Drive, Mt.
