Timothy Allen Gibbs

October 13, 1959 — February 12, 2019

Timothy Allen Gibbs, 59, of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at St. Joseph hospital.  He was born October 13, 1959 to Stanley and Betty Barnett Gibbs.

Timothy was a native of Montgomery County and of the Christian Faith.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, riding four wheelers, working on cars and watching wrestling on television.  Timothy loved pets and will be missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his loving wife Norma Gilley Gibbs of Jeffersonville; parents Stanley Wilson Gibbs and Betty Faye Barnett Gibbs of Jeffersonville; two daughters Kelsey Lynn Gibbs of Jeffersonville and Crystal J. Willoughby (Brian) of Mt. Sterling; one brother Stanley Ray Gibbs (Pam) of Jeffersonville; two grandchildren Whitney Willoughby and Zachary Willoughby of Mt. Sterling; one nephew Derek S. Wightman (Emily) of Mt. Sterling, two nieces Erica Murphy and Amanda Gibbs both of Jeffersonville and special friends Raymond Gilley, Tracy Barnett and Jackie Cole.

He was preceded in death by his sister Sandra Faye Gibbs Wightman.

There will be a visitation gathering on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 1:00PM-2:00PM at Coffman Funeral Home & Crematory in Mt. Sterling with a committal service to follow at Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery in Jeffersonville.  Pastor Tommy Evans will be officiating.

Pallbearers: Aaron Murphy, Christian Murphy, Jackie Cole, Raymond Gilley, Derek Wightman and Brian Willoughby.
