Tina Leigh (Cook) Eaves

Tina Leigh Cook Eaves, 61, of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday evening, March 12, 2020 at St. Claire Hospital in Morehead. She was born in Mt. Sterling on January 10, 1959 to the late Billy Scott Cook and Wanda Moore Compton.

Tina was a lifelong resident of Mt. Sterling, member of Macedonia Baptist Church and a retired teacher from the Montgomery County School System.  She enjoyed her animals, crafts, painting and spending time outdoors hiking.  Tina will be missed by her friends and family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Eaves of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Christy Eaves (Edwin Henderson) of Mt. Sterling; one grandchild, Nathaniel Eaves also of Mt. Sterling and her step father, Barnes Compton (Sue) of Mt. Sterling.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 1:00PM.  Visitation will be prior from 11:00AM-1:00PM.  Both will take place at Queen Street Christian Fellowship with Brother Kevin Strausbaugh officiating.
