Vernetta Sue Little Kerns, 67 passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. She was born September 6, 1948, in Mt Sterling to the late Ova and Opal Little.
She was the most loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend anyone could ever want. She was an active member of the First Church of God in Mt Sterling until she moved to Louisville and became a member of the Louisville First Church of God. She loved spending time at church volunteering, and exploring the town on her Hoverround. She was a true social butterfly who has now flown home.
Survivors include, her daughter, Pamela Head (Bill Sprenger) of Louisville; two grandsons, Tyler and Jared Head of Louisville; Bill Sprenger's daughter and granddaughter, Courtney Milhollan and Jaelyn Milhollan, both of Louisville; four sisters, Phyllis Ingram and Wanda Jones, of Mt Sterling, Callie Peel of Clearwater, FL and Linda Beach of Morganton, NC; three brothers, Butch Little of Mt Sterling, Allie Little of Paintsville and David Little of Clearwater, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, China Nealis and three brothers, Daniel Little, Ovie Little and James Little.
