Vernon Stull, 88, of Hope, Kentucky passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, Kentucky. He was born in Bath County, Kentucky on May 30, 1933 to the late Arnold and Mattie Fortune Stull.
Vernon was a life-long resident of Hope, retired from Hobart Manufacturing in 1990, proud member of Hope Church of God and a United States Air Force veteran. During his career and after retirement, Vernon loved to work and stay busy until his 80th birthday; cleaned and mowed Hope Church of God from 1974-2001, Hope Hill Children's Home from 1993-2013 and helped many friends build homes and odds and end jobs. He also enjoyed his vegetable garden, being a Kentucky Colonel and pitched on the church softball team for 26 years. He will be dearly missed by his family, church family and friends.
Vernon is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-three years, Anna Katheryn Walters Stull of Hope; one son, Darrell Wayne Stull of Bath County; one daughter, Shelia Robinson of Hope; four grandchildren, John Stull, Tyler Robinson, Dustin Robinson and Tasha Robinson; two great grandchildren, Kayleigh Robinson and Memphis Robinson; one sister, Eula Tapp of Lexington.
In addition to his parents, Vernon is preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Stull and Arnold JR Stull; three sisters, Lottie Joseph, Thelma Thompson and Della Walters.
