William "Paul" Jones

William "Paul" Jones, 91, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Providence Point Residential Care in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He was born June 25, 1926 in Harlan County to the late Elmer and Sarah Crofford Jones.

Paul was a United States Army veteran, a member of the First Baptist Church in Corbin, graduated from U.K. with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and previously employed with CSX Transportation and L&N Railroad.  He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Survivors include; his daughter, Kimberly Jones Abel (Michael) of Pennsylvania; one grandchild, William Jones; three grandchildren by marriage, Alex Abel, Colin Abel and Justin Abel, all of Pennsylvania.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Laura Miller Jones and his second wife, Cathlynn Berry Jones.

Graveside service will be Friday, January 26, 2018 at 1:00PM at Machpelah Cemetery with a reception following at Indian Creek Restaurant.  In addition, Memorial service will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00PM at the First Baptist Church in Corbin, Kentucky.
