William "Bill" S. Henry

William "Bill" S. Henry, of Mt. Sterling, died on Wednesday, July 24, 2019.  He was born on May 24, 1938 in Mt. Sterling to the late Stanley and Margaret Dunstall Henry.

Bill was a native of Mt. Sterling and of the Christian faith.  He retired from Bob's Food Service and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.  Bill and his late wife Nancy enjoyed their retirement and visited Gatlinburg, TN and Myrtle Beach, NC often.  Bill and Nancy would sometimes spontaneously leave town with no destination in mind, just site seeing and deciding where and when to go as they liked.  He loved his family dearly and they will miss him.

He is survived by his daughter Mitzi Conner (Tim) of Winchester; two grandchildren T.J. Conner and Michael Spoonamore both of Winchester; one great grandchild Michael Joe Spoonamore also of Winchester and two brothers Robert Henry (Jerri) of Myrtle Beach, NC and David Henry (Shirley) of TN; several nieces and nephews and many close friends.

In addition to his parents Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife Nancy Thompson Henry.
