William "Bill" Lewis, 60, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday evening, January 26, 2015, at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born January 29, 1954 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Forrest and Vivian McGuire Lewis.
Bill had been a resident of Montgomery County for the past 20 years having previously lived in Bath County since the age of three. He was a 1972 graduate of Bath County High School and was currently employed at Catalent Pharma Solutions. Bill had a passion for sports; he played softball, coached numerous youth sports, was an avid UK basketball fan and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include; his loving wife of 42 years, Geneva Duff Lewis of Mt. Sterling; one son, Chris Lewis (Amy) of Fort Rucker, Alabama; one sister, Debbie Sorrell (Roger) of Owingsville; one grandson, Braxton Lewis of Fort Rucker, Alabama.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bill's honor to; American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, Virginia 22312.
Pallbearers: Brady Duff, Kevin Sorrell, Gregg Sorrell, Leonard Martin, Larry Thompson, and Steve Skinner.
