Yale Harvard, 58, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, June 4, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born August 9, 1953 in Ft. Myers, Florida to the late Leonard and Velma Harvard.
Yale moved to Montgomery County thirty-six years ago, he was a farmer and he also enjoyed gardening, and Florida Gator Basketball. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; his wife of thirty-six years, Peggy Harvard of Mt. Sterling; two daughters, Nicole Harvard (Armando Almaraz) and Brandi Wyatt (Matthew) of Mt. Sterling; five brothers, Johnny Harvard, George Harvard (Claudia), Larry Harvard all of Florida, Gerald Harvard (Cheryl) of Tennessee, and Dale Harvard (Lisa) of Georgia; one sister, Elaine Sonntag of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Angela France, Kaylee France, Matthew Wyatt, and Ashley Almaraz all of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Jake Harvard and his twin sister, Estell Harvard.
Funeral service will be Friday, June 8, 2012 at 12:00PM. Visitation will also be on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, services will be at Grace Fellowship Tabernacle, 8 Wilson Alley, Mt. Sterling, KY. Burial will follow in Fortune Cemetery. Pastor Kenny Mobley will be officiating.
Pallbearers are; Tony Browning, Tuney Miles, Andrew Wyatt, Billy Rogers, Jr., Tommy Rogers, and Jimmy Dorton.
Honorary Pallbearers are; Timmy Davis, Donnie Alfrey, Gene Mobley, Darrell Lawson, Dale Fawns, and Forest Roberts.
