Yvonne Morgan Adkins

The loving family of Yvonne Morgan Adkins, 67, of Mt. Sterling announces her peaceful passing on February 18, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, Kentucky. Yvonne was born in Mccomb, Mississippi on February 25, 1956 to the late Jessie and Tressie Morgan.

Yvonne's zest for life was evident in her love for painting, motorcycle rides, and pool games. She found joy in travel and culinary adventures, always treasuring moments spent with her family. Yvonne was a dedicated homemaker and will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love for her family.

Yvonne is survived by her loving husband of twenty-nine years, David Adkins, children Jesse Greer (Johnna) of Riverview, Florida, James Greer (Shannon Sprague) of Brandon, Florida, Cristin Cook of Hurricane, West Virginia; step-children, Daniel Adkins (Kristin) of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, James Adkins of Pensacola, Florida and Jonthon Adkins of St. Albans, West Virginia, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; mother-in-law, Mary Adkins Gilmore of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; siblings, Shelby Morgan of Jayess, Mississippi, Lonnie Morgan of Haynes City, Florida, Mark Morgan (Lisa) of Florence Mississippi, Chester Morgan (Charlotte) of Brandon, Mississippi and Joey Morgan (Marcella) of Brandon, Mississippi. 

In addition to her parents, Yvonne was preceded in death by her siblings, James Morgan, Catherine Alexander, Maudine Alexander, Diane Barnes and Angie Walker. 

Memorial service for Yvonne Morgan Adkins will be announced at a later date.
